Meditations for Releasing Anxiety includes short and long term practices for releasing anxiety. In the first two sections, the meditations and guided imageries are essentially coping techniques. The intention is that these exercises can be done, on the spot, to reduce and relieve anxiety.

Then, in the final two sections, the emphasis is on learning how to allow emotion to flow and ebb naturally. These practices provide a foundation for feeling, interpreting, and reacting to emotion in healthy ways. Long term, this reduces the necessity of intense anxiety.

A Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome diagnosis in 1996 introduced Tami Brady to alternative health therapies. In her quest to ease her own suffering, she became interested in the Whole Health approaches used in Reiki and other transpersonal methodologies such as meditation, guided imagery, belief work, shadow work, and energy integrity training. Tami now writes about Whole Health and its role in developing a sustainable balance between health, happiness, and all life’s complexities.
