About Tami Brady

Tami BradyPain and suffering led me to Whole Health. In 1996, I was given a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Frustrated, in pain, and feeling very stuck, I began searching for a means to manage my debilitating symptoms. When conventional medicine failed to alleviate my pain, fatigue, and depression, I began looking at alternative health methods.

The first solid step on my life changing journey was taking a Reiki course. Encouraged by the results and intrigued with the concept of energy work, I continued to explore and study a wide variety of Reiki variations and non-Reiki healing traditions. Through trial and error (and eventually an international study), I created Reiki for Fibromyalgia. This Reiki variation bundles together twelve healing frequencies from six Reiki traditions to manage pain and to promote whole health healing in Fibromyalgia sufferers.

To complement Reiki for Fibromyalgia and to promote sustainable changes, I began looking for supplementary resources. I was immediately drawn to Transpersonal Psychology in general and Transpersonal methods such as meditation, guided imagery, belief work, affirmations, afformations (an affirmation variation), journaling, and energy integrity training in particular. In fact, my Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology was based upon Whole Health methods for Fibromyalgia.

Naturally, over time, my experimentations expanded and matured into a way of being. I’ve come to understand that Whole Health methods are very effective for a wide range of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual dis-ease and dysfunction. It would seem that although our symptoms and life issues are unique, we are all healed by understanding and releasing the root cause of our pain and suffering. Only then can we find and sustain balance between health, happiness, and all of life’s complexities.
